A sun with a black hole at its centre — or maybe an eye that's stopped seeing. A large wooden disc dominates the rich walnut surface, its core filled with dark resin, surrounded by scattered fragments: a tiny gold triangle, slivers of painted wood, a crescent shape, a wild splash of orange and rainbow resin off to the side. Everything placed with quiet intention, like objects arranged after a long time apart. Elemental and a little mysterious.
