Bruges inspired table No.3

It all began with a massive mahogany plank. I wanted to create something special and evocative of Bruges, but also something with universal appeal. I view the table as an art piece, a sculpture. The table is inlaid with padauk wood by hand using chisels, while the design is made with a router and then carved with chisels. Finally, the inlaid areas are filled with epoxy resin.
